Hess Lake...good 9 inches of ice, the famous crappie fishing has begun, try fishing red spikes and mousies.
Brooks Lake, according to Parsley's, some pan fish are being caught, good ice reported
Other area lakes, according to Parsley's, ice conditions are not safe on other area lakes, including Croton and Hardy ponds.
Muskegon River, some winter steelhead are being caught, river levels are up slightly, but still low.
