this out...a Mother and Daughter merged their totally different
businesses into one building to create a unique experience for the
shopper. The
daughter has a darling hair salon all done in the Shabby Chic Style
using new & antique things - and guess where she acquired her
decor? You guessed it, from her Mom's shop, This Old House Antiques
& Resale Shop. The styling stations are vintage work benches, the
waiting area chairs have painted flowers with the distressed look, and
the lighting is all chandeliers. It is just too cute. Located at Keely
Friar (a.k.a. daughter) is the owner & she specializes in foil
highlights, however she is a full service salon & even cuts men's
hair. Another fun thing she does is Princes Parties for young girls.
She'll do their hair, (either funky or elegant), mini manicures &
mini pedicures. Then Keely's Mom (a.k.a. Donna) can take them to the
vintage clothing area & dress them up for pictures. The girls just
love it… Be sure to visit this creative combo for inexpensive fun and for good deals they have to offer.
Where else can you shop for an entire weekend only visiting a handful
of stores? Slip on your flip-flops, throw on a visor and stroll along
flower-lined streets, cobblestone sidewalks and arhitectural
